Privacy policy
Last updated September 29, 2026. This policy covers the Jury Duty Help website.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account. If you use the contact form, we receive your name (optional), email address, message, the page you sent it from, and a one-way hash of your IP address so we can limit spam. We use that only to reply to you.
Calculators and tools
The letter builders and pay calculator run entirely in your browser. Names, dates, and details you type are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
Advertising and cookies
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and to other sites on the Internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://adssettings.google.com and at https://aboutads.info. Our cookie banner lets you allow, decline, or manage storage. Until you allow advertising storage, Google Consent Mode defaults stay denied for ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage, and any ads shown are non-personalized.
Google Analytics runs only if a measurement ID is configured for this site, and it respects the same consent choice.
Google and its partners may also use web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit how often you see an ad, and prevent fraud. To learn how Google uses information from sites that show its ads, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google AdSense is currently the only advertising vendor on this site. If we add another ad network, we will name it here with a link to its opt-out page.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before any personalized ads are shown. Without that consent, ads are non-personalized or limited ads, which still use cookies or local storage only for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate reporting.
California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies can count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out with the Do Not Sell or Share link in the footer or by declining advertising storage in the banner.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
